A ruler's existential quest comes at an inopportune time as rebellion erupts in his kingdom.

I have learned since the completion of this project how to animate more realistically and efficiently, but this still remains my favorite stop-motion animation. My goal for this short was to have a solid story and wide-ranging set designs. Red was used for its passionate and vivid undertones that stand out in this dark and tragic piece.
